Grendova Health Ltd is a Cardiff organisation with experience in food supplements and nutrition. We created Prenatal Complete for people who prefer a clear label, a modest daily format and a practical UK ordering experience.

Our approach is deliberately plain: explain the composition, show the price in pounds, confirm orders by phone and make payment possible when the parcel arrives. We do not believe that a food supplement needs elaborate marketing to be useful, and we would rather a visitor to this site leave with an accurate understanding of what is in the capsule than with an exaggerated promise about what it might do.

1. How Grendova started

Grendova was founded by a small team with a background in food supplements and nutrition retail, based in Cardiff. The founding idea was straightforward: many people looking for a daily prenatal-style nutrient routine wanted a way to order without entering card details online upfront, and wanted a label they could actually read and understand before committing to a pack. Prenatal Complete was developed around that idea, combining methylfolate, iron bisglycinate, marine algae DHA, vitamin D3 and iodine into a single daily capsule, with the ordering process built around a phone confirmation step rather than an automated checkout.

2. What we mean by "food supplement, not a medicine"

This phrase appears throughout the site because it matters. Prenatal Complete is regulated in the United Kingdom as a food supplement, not as a medicine, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, replace medical advice or professional healthcare or health condition. Our role is to describe accurately what is in the capsule, in what quantity, and how it relates to the recognised Nutrient Reference Values, and to leave any decision about suitability for an individual's circumstances to that person and, where appropriate, their GP or another qualified healthcare professional.

3. Our approach to ingredients

We select forms of each nutrient with a preference for those that are well established and commonly used in UK food supplements, such as methylated folate and a bisglycinate form of iron, rather than choosing forms purely because they are the least expensive. Full details of the current formulation, including exact quantities per capsule, are published on the Composition page and are not altered without the labelling and any relevant claims being reviewed for continued compliance with Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 as retained in UK law.

4. Our approach to ordering

We use a pay-on-delivery model because we know that some customers are cautious about entering card details on a site they have not ordered from before. Under this model, a visitor submits their name and phone number through the order form, a member of our team calls to confirm the details during working hours, and payment is made to the courier by cash or card only once the parcel has arrived. There is no subscription, no automatically recurring charge, and no obligation created simply by submitting the form.

Grendova Health Ltd is registered in England and Wales and dispatches Prenatal Complete to addresses across the United Kingdom, including London and the South East, the Midlands and East of England, the North of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Highlands and Islands. Grendova operates with a deliberately small, Cardiff-based team covering customer support, order confirmation and day-to-day operations, supported by external partners for logistics and IT hosting where specialist infrastructure is required. We think this keeps decision-making close to the people who actually speak to customers on the phone each day, rather than distributed across layers of management that a small food supplement business does not need.

8. How we describe evidence and claims

Where we make a claim about a nutrient, such as iron's contribution to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, we use only the exact wording authorised under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 as retained in UK law, and we attach that claim to the specific nutrient rather than to Prenatal Complete as a whole. For ingredients where no authorised nutrient claim exists, we describe them factually, by name and standardised extract ratio where relevant, without implying an effect that has not been authorised.

9. Sustainability and packaging

We aim to keep outer packaging minimal and discreet, reflecting both a preference among customers for plain parcels and a general intention to avoid unnecessary material. The capsule shell used in Prenatal Complete is a vegetarian HPMC shell rather than a gelatine shell, which is a choice we have made available to a wider range of customers without requiring a separate product line.
