  • Do not exceed one capsule as the recommended daily dose.
Morning routine with Prenatal Complete capsule pack glass of water and breakfast table

1. Before starting

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication or have an existing medical condition, please consult your GP or a qualified healthcare professional before taking any food supplement. Read the label and retain the packaging for reference. Prenatal Complete is a food supplement, not a medicine. It is designed to complement a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle, not to replace ordinary meals or personal advice from a healthcare professional who knows your individual circumstances.

2. Building the habit

Most people find it easiest to take a daily capsule at a moment that already exists in their routine, such as directly after brushing their teeth in the morning, or alongside breakfast. Choosing a fixed cue like this reduces the chance of forgetting a dose and avoids the temptation to take two capsules together to make up for a missed day, which is not recommended. A 60-capsule pack corresponds to a two-month supply when taken exactly as directed, one capsule per day, which can make it easier to plan reordering around a calendar reminder rather than waiting until the pack is empty.

StepWhat to doWhy it helps
1Choose one fixed moment in your dayAnchors the habit to something you already do
2Keep the pack visible near that momentReduces the chance of forgetting
3Take one capsule with a full glass of waterSupports comfortable swallowing and digestion
4Note the date you opened the packMakes it easy to plan reordering in advance

3. Taking the capsule correctly

Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water. We do not recommend opening the capsule shell and mixing the contents into food or drink, as this is not how the product has been tested for stability and it may affect how evenly the contents are consumed. The capsule shell used in Prenatal Complete is a vegetarian HPMC shell, gluten-free, and formulated without added sugar, which is intended to make it broadly suitable within a varied diet, subject to the individual precautions described elsewhere on this page.

4. Timing relative to meals

Prenatal Complete can be taken with or without food, but many people find that taking it alongside a meal, particularly breakfast, is more comfortable and easier to remember consistently. There is no requirement to take it at a specific time of day, and taking it earlier or later than usual on an occasional day is not a cause for concern. What matters most for a steady daily routine is consistency over the course of the two-month pack, rather than precise timing on any single day.

5. If you miss a day

If you forget to take your capsule on a given day, simply resume your normal one-capsule-per-day routine the next day. Do not take two capsules together to make up for a missed dose, as the recommended daily dose should not be exceeded under any circumstances. Missing an occasional day within a two-month pack does not require you to discard the remainder of the pack or to start again from the beginning.

6. Storage conditions in detail

Store the container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally below 25°C, and keep the cap closed between uses to limit exposure to humidity. A kitchen cupboard away from the cooker, or a bedroom drawer, is generally more suitable than a bathroom cabinet, where temperature and humidity fluctuate more during showers and baths. Keeping the product in its original container, with the label intact, also ensures that the best-before date and batch information remain visible for as long as the pack is in use.

7. Recognising the best-before date

The best-before date is printed on the base of the pack and on the outer carton, and it should be checked before the first capsule is taken from a new pack. Food supplements are generally most reliable in terms of nutrient content before this date; after it, the potency of certain nutrients, particularly some vitamins, may gradually decline even though the product may still look and smell normal. If a pack has passed its best-before date, we recommend replacing it rather than continuing to use it.

8. Who should seek advice before starting

Certain groups should speak to a GP or another qualified healthcare professional before adding any new food supplement to their routine, including anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone taking prescription medication that could interact with a nutrient such as iron or iodine, and anyone with a diagnosed thyroid condition given the iodine content of this formulation. This is precautionary advice rather than a suggestion that a problem is likely, and it reflects standard practice for any supplement containing these particular nutrients.

“Consistency matters more than perfection. Missing an occasional day will not undo a routine you have otherwise kept steadily for weeks.”— Grendova product guidance

9. What to do if you experience discomfort

Stop taking the capsule and consult a GP or pharmacist if you experience persistent discomfort after taking it. It is sensible to introduce any new food supplement gradually and to pay attention to how your body responds over the first week or two. Retaining the packaging, including the batch number, makes it easier for a healthcare professional to advise you if you do need to discuss the product with them.

10. Reordering before you run out

Because a 60-capsule pack lasts two months at the recommended one-capsule daily dose, we suggest placing a reorder request roughly ten to fourteen days before the current pack is due to run out, allowing time for phone confirmation and the stated 1–2 working day dispatch window. There is no subscription and no automatic recurring charge; every order, including a repeat order, goes through the same name-and-phone-number request and confirmation call described on the homepage.
